Have you ever noticed the black block in front of Altona Town Hall? In front of the monument “Black Form – Dedicated to the Missing Jews” by Sol LeWitt (1989) on Platz der Republik, INGLAM creates a moment of active remembrance. Nora: “This is a lecture performance about a monument and the irrevocable”. Julia: “This is a lecture performance about a lapsus, a significant translation error”. Anja: “This is a lecture performance about a counter-monument”.
After the lecture performance, there will be 20 minutes for a discussion with the artists and your questions.
